Project Background

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is designing a new Fire Station that will include an Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC) and a Fire Training Tower.

We are seeking input from industry on potential use of these facilities and the requirements your organization would have. We’re also exploring possible partnerships or sponsorships.

Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC)

Located on the second floor of the fire station, the ECC will be approximately 9,000 sq. ft. and include a large central space, boardroom, kitchen, breakout rooms for planning and operations, offices, washrooms, and showers.

Fire Training Tower

Separate from the fire station, the tower will be built from sea cans and include live-fire training with propane. Props will include rappel stations, door swings, balconies and windows, confined spaces, and other propane-based features.
